Franchisor is retaliating against me for exercising my civil rights

I followed the operations manual provided to me by the franchisor. A customer came into my store and did not have the proper IDs for release of a UPS package and she brought a misbehaving dog into the facility. I tried to work with her but she got angry because of the policies and started to threaten me and harass me. I had to call the police to mediate the situation. Then she started to harass and stalk me and my employees and continued to do so with physical threats against me for almost 30 days straight. I was in fear of my safety and the safety of my family and employees. The only way that I could get her to stop stalking me was by filing an order of protection. When the franchisor learned that I am in legal dispute with this woman who was threatening my personal safety, they began to send me unwarranted default letters and now has threatened to terminate my franchise agreement.
