The Kyle Family Franchise Owners of both McDonalds in Mountain Home Idaho (Elmore County) and I had a telephone conversation. I’m not sure which brother I spoke to, but he claims he’s doing the best he can. My complaints was this corp has increased the price of ice tea from $1.00 to $1.34 or $1.43. ALSO THIS IS IDAHO WE GROW POTATO CROPS HERE, YET A SMALL FRY IS OVER $2.00
I intend to boycott all McDonalds and tell everyone about my experience. THIS AM, THIS DATE, the woman at the window handed me my order. She then says to me: Did you make a complaint about the coffee? ME NO, I MADE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THE COST OF ICED TEA. She further stated that it comes back on us. I said, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SETTING THE PRICE-SHE BLOWS ME OFF . HOW DARE THIS ENTIRE GROUP OF PEOPLE TO SPEAK TO ME IN SUCH AN INCONSIDERATE, RUDE MANNER. THAT IS NOT HOW I WAS RAISED!! I AM REALLY TICKED OFF NOW. SHE DOES NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO VERBALLY ATTACK A CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN PAYING HER AND EVERY EMPLOYEES SALARIES FOR DECADES! I AM A SENIOR WITH OVER 50 YEARS IN THE WORK FORCE AND LIVE ON FIXED INCOME RETIRED SSA. I REFUSE TO PAY ALL THESE BS COSTS. YES, THEY REMODELED AND IT LOOKS NICE, BUT WHAT THESE PEOPLE DO AND DID IS PASS COSTS ON TO CUSTOMERS – NOT MY PROBLELM
