My son Navy LT. Max Vaughn, his wife Navy LT. Michelle Vaughn and daughter Heidi 1 year and a half years old arrived at the Comfort Inn around 11-11:30am on Saturday July 18th. They paid for a reservation to get a room around 11:00am. They explained that their daughter needed to take a nap after the plane trip, so she would be ready to go to a relatives wedding at 3:00 on that day. When they arrive at the hotel, they were told due to their late arrival their room was not available anymore and that there were no vacancies and no refund was offered. They went frantically looking for another room.
Just a little background why I, as Max’s Mom, am still upset about the treatment he and his family received from the Hotel Comfort Inn Inn on Thursday July 17th.
Lt. Max Vaughn has been at Sea on the Carl Vinson for a week, returning to San Diego on the ship at night of the 17th July. He went home picked up his wife and daughter to get to the Airport on the morning of July 18th, arriving at SeaTac after 10am.
Everyone made it to the wedding on time and it was great, but regretfully only with bad feelings about Comfort Inn Franchises.
