I went to a Jiffy Lube in Belleville, NJ for an oil change and was told I needed brake fluid and differential fluid. How is anyone going to know whether the differential fluid on a three year old car with 11000 original miles needs changing unless they opened the case? This is not an easy procedure to do, I believe. Please investigate this location. I am now going to check to see if my original “Subaru” oil filter is still in the vehicle; I know they wouldn’t carry another with the Subaru name on it, and this is done intentionally by the manufacturer to ensure that Subaru parts are used.
